Mind of Madness

The world through my autistic mind
Sometimes life is so difficult, I find
Hiding from life, it's the people I fear
Hard for me to be near.
At the bottom of a well
Or standing under the ringing of a bell
People's feelings
Puts me to kneeling
Emotions slaming me
Please stop I plea
Echoing off my soul
Is that this madnesses goal
Ringing in my head
Their pain I'm fed
Makes me old
My heart can't be sold
No longer so bold
So I hide
I must confide
The pain
Left its stain
But Is it wrong
Been so long
The peace I seek
Before I grow weak
