Mind Confusion

I have slipped into a state of illusion
Followed by a deep confusion
Why does my aching heart still cling
To his beating heart, my lost fling.

Why I am screaming
My mind day dreaming
Always of what was
What will be no more
I am wishing my soul could sore.

Deep in to the crashing ocean's wave's
Then I could hold my head high
Give myself praise.

Oh where for art though
My true king
Out there surfing
On a dove's wing.

Give me danger
And keep your rotten love
All this anger
In your lap I wish to shove.

Don't patronize my emotion
Don't fill me with your lies
Take this erosion
And fill it with your cries!
