Mimic

Here with a smile Love sets fine style Just for a while Now words cast rhymes With motive mimes That tells on time Lift words at last Beyond mere cast To work not fast Feel that fond feel Of words that heal To mimic thrill Watch movement dash In abrupt flash Of petty dash If you must guess Say more with less As words can bless Time mellows space In a quick trace Of ace in place Watch if you must For mad distrust To seed more rust Joy anchors cheer To purge all fear Now crystal clear It's never late To know how fate Can clean the slate Live your best thrill In fond goodwill In silence still Leon Enriquez 10 April 2019 Singapore
