Milly Saves the Crescent Moon

Milly’s dive was dark and deliberate, also dangerously deep.
But she had to save the crescent moon, who had a soul to keep.
The moon was grateful and gave her six wishes to spend.
She used three of them for others and gave two more to a friend.

Are you keeping no wish for yourself? Asked the moon in surprise.
My wish is to get you back up there, in the beautiful night skies.
The crescent moon became a life long friend to this mystical friend.
The wishes he gives her now never expire, run out or end.

So you really can wish for infinite wishes! (or end up with them, if you're selfless). Nice, Caren
