Million Hints
I first saw you walking along the beach, all alone.
When I tried to talk, you could’ve detected a sense of love in my tone.
It wasn’t intentional; every word came out on its own,
That’s why I instantly asked you to call me, so I could get your number on my phone.
Always sitting next to you whenever I was sad,
Seeking solutions to problems I never had,
Just because I was deeply in love with you,
I was looking for reasons just to get close to you.
Going to those places with you, I hated before,
Just to get time to connect with your soul.
But I ain’t sure if you’ve ever seen me as more than just a friend,
Because for me, you never let your plans bend.
I might not be able to interpret your mind;
Maybe you don’t show it, but for you, I’m one of a kind.
God knows what’s there in your head,
But I’m sure every part of my heart knows I love you, because that’s something I’ve a thousand
times said.
I’ve given enough hints to confess my love,
And you need to understand them, since feelings cannot be served.
I’ll be waiting for that time when from my heart, you’ll catch that one thought.
Until then, I won’t lose hope and will reminisce on those moments with you, I romantically caught.
