Millefiori: My Multifaceted Muse

My muse rejoices in claiming that she's 'double-faced, meaning she's comfy wearing leather or fancy Alencon lace. Rebellious, she urges me to write lines of a violent battle then she'll steal my pen to scribble some flowery prattle. She floats through my mind's gate to dance in my garden and returns several days later, begging for my pardon. She makes me laugh when she suggests a frivolous word and clucks her tongue at me when I tell her it's absurd! I dare not trade her in for a muse who's much less inclined to be synchronized with my bipartisan frame of mind. I never know which personality my muse will display. If you're asking if I have another one ~ I must say, "Nay!" March 21, 2021 Reveal Your Other Muse Sponsored by: Margarita Lillico *Artwork by Peter Nixon c/o Pinterest

Sometimes we scribble what our pens tell us to write. But I promise one on day break.

Finely-crafted piece of work, Jenna. I love the rhymes, but it's the theme that takes me in. Where did you come up with name for your Muse??? Love the illustration, too.

Thanks for the compliments, LM. I can't take credit for her name. It's Italian for a thousand flowers, which I thought fitting for a multifaceted muse. Not sure if it's contest worthy because I have no concealed muse to reveal...just Mille, who comes and goes as she pleases.

You just never know what they're going to come up with next, but we'd be lost without them. Mine suffers terribly from wanderlust lol. Well written Jenna and good luck. Enjoy your day. Tom

Hi Tom, Thank you for both visits and the little snitch on your muse. ;) Her wanderlust is a good thing, for she's gathering tidbits to whisper in your ear that will lead you to places only she has roamed. Her name...Millefiori is an Italian glasswork techniques. Mille meaning thousand and fiori meaning flowers.
