Miles In Between

There was a time when I was barely hanging on for life
At one of weaker points there you were
You have no idea about the sins you cured
You breathe the life back into me
Your attention gives me a place to belong
You're the smile that crosses my lips
It sounds so silly
But you give me such a rush
Your every word makes me blush
You just rescued me from having to believe I've got to settle
I've been going crazy from the second you wrote to me
All I can picture is just a moment of you and me
It's cliche
And you can have your way
I'm just so damn lucky
We're gonna be the best thing the world has seen
In spite of miles in between
