Miles Apart

Here we lay in the dark
In the same bed but miles apart
All I feel is pain in my heart
You sleep like you have no worries
As I lay here and wish for death to hurry
I asked you not to destroy me
You said you loved me and couldn't
Like a fool I believed you wouldn't
And so now here we lay in the dark
My soul aches my body shakes
To get over this pain what will it take
Tears come and years go but the pain stays
So now this is it here we lay in the dark
In the same bed but miles apart.

Such pain. It takes a lot to share one you do. I believe this is your calling. You will heal.....finally.

A tragedy repeated each night all over the world throughout many countless lives...methinks! My best regards, Tracey. Top marks - A seven! :) john
