Mile After Mile

it is a long stretch of backwood country to walk (Mile After Mile) The scenery changes with every step from Blue and green to Winter White (Mile after Mile) My home is so faraway from me now I cannot retrace my yellow brick road Feet are moving but this Peon despair nobody around yet someone is there (Mile after Mile) Cotton fields are soaked through the skin Powdery layers of this cold snap settling in The sky is pink and the trees are frozen chill Many road signs to see but I cannot get there, still The cell phone ran out of minutes a short while ago (1 Mile after another Believe it or not,My eyes spot a road kill) Brothers are in the city now Me parents have left this Earth not too long since Every One(of my Kin)is lying under the Mediterranean Sun I cannot contact them for they do not want to speak of me (The Same Mile But a Silent Gap Death is for certain But I hum to a melody of an old RMDC rap
