Mighty Love

" Mighty Love "

A subtle message sent to me
by dear God above
protecting my vulnerable life
with his Mighty Love.

Detour here, roadblock there
I never could see why
now I know and understand
I really should not cry.

The things you did hurt me bad
made me really sad
his Heavenly intervention helped me out
now I am so glad.

He has the power to reach down
to touch our human life
through his caring, comforting love
he helps remove our strife.

Sometimes through our choices
we make a bad mistake
we ask him for forgiveness
all our sins he will take.

So when you think you messed up
and there is no hope
bow your head and pray to God
he will help you cope.

There is nothing that’s so bad
we could ever do
god is always with us all
he loves me and loves you...
