Mighty As Mountains

Two sets of three words each
  Each sets forces in motion
Mighty as mountains, vast as the ocean

The first set, "I give up"
  All momentum it quells
The future, disrupts

The other, "I love you"
Walks you out on a limb
Your destiny magical; alternatively, grim

Utter these three words with the utmost care
Never with a wing; always with a prayer

Gershon, 'Mighty as Mountains' you named it. Two sentences tht strip away the armor, and lay bare a soul. Aptly named poem. Oh, and a Fave. -Richard

Well said, my friend. I'd say one must be really careful about walking out on that limb. Before we were married, I told my wife if I ever tell you "I love you" it will be a proposal. Well, in a moment of rapture, I said it, and she immediately said, "I will!" I said, "Will what?" Shortly after, we got married! Nice poem.

Thanks for the true story there, Milt. You've certainly experienced the impact of those thee little words (I.l.y.) firsthand!! Remember never to say 'I give up' to your wife. Sounds like a recipe for disaster -- whereas the other three words were the recipe for the best part of life! Thanks again for this (for me) confidence-booster. Take good care, Gershon
