Mighty

As I sit here contemplating the moonlight.
Everything is calm, during the storm of life, it will be all right.
I am grateful for my past, realizing that it was not meant to last.
Maybe I can now count my blessings and help others do the same.
God knows what I've been through and love is not a game.
I have touched the red orange sky in the horizon.
As the sun sets before me, nobody knows my struggles, day by day.
No matter what they say, most things never go our way.
Life is a challenge for the persistent.
Gladiators fighting, without resistance.
The weak of heart, will not survive, it's a matter of staying alive.
My inner peace, my joy, I shall revive.
No matter what you're going through, stay strong.
God will be there for you all along.
And even if something does go wrong.
Don't give up hope, fight the good battle of faith, and rewrite this song.
You may not understand, the problem, the matter at hand.
Just remember that in the end, only the mighty are left to stand.
