Midnight Winds

Melodies sprinkle oft on twilight breezes
Dancing spirits somewhere among the dead
The dream catchers waltz about
As the midnight wind filters through the spider’s web

Gale rumors circulate confusion
Across the valley’s greatest divide
Weeping to the willows
On soft needle whispers carrying along the pine

Nips upon the snowy tops
And down the mountain's side
Onto Grandma’s front porch cabin
Crashing consequences into windy chimes

Tinking out tall tales of lives in the hollow
Upon a marionette of battling pipes
Joining the allure of creatures songs
As all sweep away to embrace the wintery night
