Notes About The Poem

Midnight Incantations

when stars align tangled in translucent moonbeams
my mind is cleared of thought much to my delight
gloom and shadows make way to universal insight
mantras surface calming to the soul by way of twilight
airborne my mind floats ethereal as a wispy feather
and i am free ~

in a world of dreams and enchanted streams
sleep comes tenderly ~ i'm lifted free in flight
beneath this mystic ebb and flow of celestial light
amidst the spangled nebula that flickers in the night
i close my eyes and at long last we are together
and we are free ~
