Midnight Dawn

Sun breaks out
over the forest
night screams out
as if in pain,
dawn awakening
beams of sunlight
wash down on top of me
i scream
as if in pain,
midnight comes
again as no day
has come to wash
away the darkness in
the screaming world
as if in pain
