Midnight Air

I stepped forward
In whistling music, I drowned
Sounds just like my mother, I thought
This sound
The warmth of her embrace, for which I longed
It was just yesterday
Or am I wrong?
The tears soaking my lips
A voice so silent
I reminisce
A corner for me, though so bare
All alone in the midnight air
I fall
