Midas

I broke your heart tore my world apart, The good I thought turned wrong the love now gone. So easy to hurt the one I love, Now your pain I understand and why I am alone. All he touched Midas turned to gold; All I have is shame and misery. I wish for a second chance to hold that dream, That like fire kept me alive; And reignite that which turned so dim. Body of a man mind of a child, Played silly games never knowing what it was till it was gone. Here alone child all gone waiting for you to come back home, Take this heart then our dreams To gold we will make.
