Michael Myers

They sat in the darkness, laughter and joy, A family together, a plan to destroy, Watching them, silent, from afar, My heart beating black, no hint of scar. Their merriment, a happy facade, For soon they'll feel the touch of my hand, The guitar will be silent, the children will scream, As I take them apart, in each of my screams. Their love, their bond, it's futile you see, For I've come for a purpose, to set them free, To join the darkness, the blackness inside, A family forever, where I'll reside. The fairy and unicorn will fall to the ground, Their screams of terror, a beautiful sound, And as the night comes to a close, The blood will run, the end of their woes. So enjoy your laughter, your lifes' sweet pace, For I'm coming for you, with death's cold embrace, And know that in the end, you'll see my face, The face of Michael Myers, your life erased.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
