Messenger Thread

Messenger threads between me and you, From ordinary friends we grew, Sharing, asking, kidding around, Freely I could say what I found. Messenger threads, our words entwined, Friendship’s casual thoughts combined, Unafraid and unsuspecting, Typing light and easy, reflecting. Messenger messages, innocent and pure, Unprepared for a twist, unsure, When you, without intention, teased, My heart awakened, no longer at ease. Now messenger threads tell a tale, Of how my heart began to fail, Hopelessly drawn to your charm, Loveliness meant for another’s arm. Messenger threads I scroll, delete, Hoping to undo the pain, retreat, But it’s nonsense, far too late, My love and adoration met their fate.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
