Message From Carl

I am a sailor
and when im out to sea
it could be a while
that you will hear from  me.
Ive been gone for months
sometimes  five or more
ive missed special occasions
and so much more
this message is for my friends
right here on soup
i still try my best
to stay in the loop
Please dont be offended
if you dont hear from me
i mean no disrespect
Its just my life at sea
its lonely for me
living life on the swells
but i do have time 
to pen odes to tell
just know that your missed
and thought of with a smile
and ill try to catch up
when i reach port once in a while

Poet Destroyer A April 15, 2013 at 9:48 AM Carl, this is a sweet message to your friend on the soup. Your life on the sea would be an adventure for me. I am glad this is the only reason you are not on the soup as much. I've been here on and off... and lately I find it hard to comment the poets who are dear to me. That is why I haven't said hi in a while.. I wanted to pull myself together, after all the heartbreak my daughter and I have endured.
