Merry Christmas To Family and Friends

To my friends and family

You are the ones who let me in
When I need an Inn
Even when I have to stay in a kraal
You will still make that call
On this day of joy and love
I wish you happiness
As described by the beatitudes
Happiness that blossoms in any weather
Outgrowing weeds lashed together
Another day will follow this day
I pray the spirit with stay this way
Merry Christmas

There's nothing as wonderful as the Christmas spirit shared with family.

'You are the ones who let me in' is a marvelous welcome to the friends in the poem and to me as a new fellow. I wish I had your embrace as I write.

'You are the ones who let me in' is an opener which welcomes a nice day for me as a new fellow on this platform and so it is for the friends in the poem. A marvelous opening line!

I really should not put two poems in a row from the same poet on my favorite list. Shut up, Michelo. It's too late to stop me. I'm on a roll here! I want to be one of your family. I am a play cousin now.
