Merry Christmas Smile

Tis time for some lit
Of a very different style
A break from the norm
To get you to smile
All the time serious
All the time formal
Can bore us to death
So I'll break from the normal

A point I won't make
A point would be dull
But the point of this poem
To have no point at all
So here's to your mothers
Cause when your father was out
I rolled in her covers
And gave her a shout

Oh boy did she laugh
And giggle and scream
But not at my jokes
If you know what I mean
It's all in good fun
So don't be up tight
Merry Christmas to all
And to all a goodnight

You surely give us a great "smile" along with a few hearty laughs with this one, Micah! Just what we needed with the holiday coming up. Thanks! Love, Carolyn
