Mermaid
Little mermaid sitting on a rock
You look so lonesome.
Are you waiting for your lover
away beyond on the far sea?
You are so faithful waiting for him
I know he’ll return to you
If you could sing a song from your heart
your words would carry to him.
Across the wide ocean he’ll hear
and bring his ship back to you.
Never move from the rock
Keep your eyes on the horizon.
