The Magic Cat Merlin
Marvellous! The magic cat Merlin
Imported from the city Berlin.
Behaviour typical feline,
owned by my niece Carolyn.
She steps slow silent lifting paw,
but as she needs attention to draw
only raises soft voice meow.
She loves to taste cooked fish-meat not raw.
The magic cat Merlin! Marvellous.
Favourite of Carolyn oblivious.
The cat behaves always curious.
She ignores rats not being furious.
House of Carolyn is free of rats.
Those are driven by presence of cat.
Facing rat, Merlin acts as acrobat
but never hits, only gently pats.
Merlin performs this wonderful magic.
Cool calm nature is simply unique.
Rats are afraid: But end not tragic.
Events turning dramatic or comic.
