Sit at the table
And look things over carefully
No decision here should be made lightly
There’s tons of variety
So many things you could have
And lots of options to choose from
You could pick two
You could even do more than that
But it would cost you
Lots of money
And lots of time
You might even mess around and have too much on your plate
And here’s the kicker; anything you get you can’t take with you
There are no carry out boxes (at least not for the food there aren’t)
But you could do it though
You could get some samples of what’s offered
And expand your taste in a few moments of dabbling
But you can only try so much
Afterwards you've tested a few new things feel free to try something new or stick with the safe
route, and go with what you know
You can have this
That
The other thing you’ve been eyeing for a while (hey…go for it)
And if you don’t like what you end up with
You could always send it back
But that’s a lot of time wasted to start all over again
So choose carefully the first time
Once you have the desired course you could proceed to take it one
step further
You can spice it up
Sweeten it
Give it a bit of twang
Savor each bite slowly
Rush through it
Or just ignore what’s in front of you and socialize with the other patrons
Some people come here not just for the food, but for the people
The atmosphere
The sounds
The setting
And there's nothing wrong with that
The meal isn’t always important
Just remember that time is always ticking
And that life will close eventually”
