Mental Love

My mental love for you is stronger than a hug,
And when I think of you I drink a burning drug.
My brains are very fried for holding you inside,
And so I fizz a lot although I touch you not.

I'm happy when you're near, to see you move and walk,
And happy when I hear you sing and laugh and talk.
And then, when you depart, although I'm sad at heart,
Because I love you so, I wish you joy to go.

It's so hard to grapple with one who's in the throes of depression, or any disfigurement... it's exhausting. You just have to be there, and recognize the relief when they are gone... sad but true. Well done my friend! Best wishes, Keith
