Mental Illness You Are Not Alone
Eminem wrote songs about struggles he’d been through
and millions said his words got through
those millions struggled towards a new
because they realised it was possible to do
Before his songs they weren’t sure how to
down and out was their only view
no belief they could start a new
feeling totally different to all of you
Lost and isolated all alone
feeling like they live on their own
in a world of alien so unknown
conceded in a defeated zone
Until those words of a similar existence
that made them fight for their own existence
a light that shined on others that exist
found fight through not being alone like this
Tell of the non-fiction in beating addiction,
teach others the lesson to beating depression
if you overcame anxiety share it with society
knowledge is key to overcome
and must be shared with everyone
Knowledge saves lives
and shapes destiny
helping others survive
might be your destiny
a small thing to give
is your story
We can beat mental illness and all have a share of the glory
