Memory's Take Flight

Laying awake at night, memory's in my mind take flight. Whisking me away to yesterday, when I was a child at play. Mother taught me right from wrong, in my heart she left her song. Her laughter was music to my ears, these are the things I hold so dear. Reliving those care free days, now that Mothers gone away. She waits for me with the Lord on high, where I will join her by and by.
