Memory of a Moment
Time sweeping past , how many milestones?
trapped in hourglass, a multitude of seconds.
how many minutes in a moment?, I wonder
lying in my hammock, a countdown beckons
Pink hue of a faint glow, flutters and fades
drenched in sweet nothings, scapes of sand
under an evening sun, I recast that moment
a wilted flower weeping, you made me stand.
Slow like dawn, your eyes took me in a web
an ecstatic soft voice ,'I will leave you never'
in soundless instants my heart kept beating
a moment is tatooed, like a memory forever.
