Memory Lane

I took a walk down memory lane,
I wish I hadn't, I remembered pain.

Hidden sorrows brought to mind
Times when life had been unkind.

Thoughts now racing around my head
Pain I thought I'd put to bed.

If only I could press delete,
For they now seem stuck, on repeat.
