Memory Lane

why did you have to go
you were so young i guess you did not know
that your depression was getting worse
that it took you by force
that you knew you were living a lie
and no matter how hard you try
you still could not help but cry
you gave it your all
but still you took the fall
till you could not take it anymore
you were just to tired and sore
so you took the pills to take away the pain
now your living on memory lane
