Memory
What is about to change is likely to get worse
A memory that lasts too long will be
Considered wrong and dangerous resource
But the restrictions taken won’t relate to me
How fine that we have no more time to waste
Under the leadership of worthiest and wise
What pleases me, that there’ll be no place
For us to share in their wretched paradise
This world’s a hoax if we expect to be
Rewarded for the troubles, sent to us
As we prefer to think, but afterwards we see
Life makes no sense, except a memory it has
And memory’s a candle of the soul
Its not extinguished by the winds of stormy weather
It doesn’t fade, regardless what we’re told
In memory we live, so close together.
