Memories Return From Horizon
MEMORIES RETURN FROM HORIZON
Flashes of lightning in your face gleamed
The smile I painted on my butterfly wing
Cascades of stream in your voice ringed
The music I created in my violin string.
On your dove eyes fell the full moon’s hue
The sparkle I sprinkled on my starry sky
In silver air the laced motif of your hair flew
On its tapestry I made my emotions lie.
Your touch the rising sun draped warmth in a flood
In delighted heart I swam blissfully in genial waters
In vibrant silence you showed your beautiful world
My dreams resonated in the rhythm of your colors.
In my winter twilight you departed with the setting sun
I now wait for the spring to arrive soon with your colors
Flying from horizon memories on the breeze would return
I would see you again smiling on the petals of the flowers.
Stardust of the blue night would define your presence
Your supple touch I would feel in the ripple of silence.
