Memories On Paper

Oh cluttered memories in my head,
thrust into the spin of thread
disperse from the rigid spool
to give me the writing tool.

Altered words on the page,
far be it joy, or all from rage
I jot it down, oh so fast
that of my pen, a shadow cast.

Elegant, not in all regards
but shattered fractals and pencil shards
Nevermind, to it I return
a blissful moment, I so earned.
