Memories On Branches

Remember
How you used to be laid
under my shade
the sun peeking through the curtains of my leaves
like them you have left me
after all the ring of rosies
the cheating of hide n seek
where you had your first kiss on the cheek
remember?
I used to sing you the song of summer
the wind was my mellow drummer
my branches no longer slumber
my roots dry and in dissray
I hope you visit and stay
I'll be here when you want to play
I'm only a fe branches away..

Love Always,
 Weeping Willow.
