Memories of the Dance

I held within my arms last night
The two best blondes in the place,
Excitement from times past
I felt upon my face.

I listened to the beat and swayed
While tapping both my feet,
Watching all the touching bodies,
Planning my retreat.

I'm sure the music will draw me back,
I've been known for such a thing,
To dance slow dances with the girls
An' let the play begin.
