Memories of Dad and Me
I can remember hunting with my Dad
From the time I was a young lad
It never makes me sad
Everything about my Dad
Was very rad I'm just glad
I have the memories of Dad and me
I remember the many faces
All the many places
That helps me sort out all of the many cases
I see in those memories that were him and me
As I pick up on the many traces
Of the good old days that embraces
The wide open spaces
When I was still young in my ways
He molded the man that lives through me
Only then can we begin to see
How much good stuff he instills into me
It's easy to see why my Dad was so close to me
Dad had brought me up with social graces
Always taking me off to the races
Now I really wouldn't have been mad
If I didn't have a dad that was so rad
Then I would be lost without any bases
To make a case my dad's heart was in the right place
He taught me the workplace is important
To make good relations that leads to vacations
My memories are so real as they make me feel
Like my life is a really big deal
Of the values And morals, he instilled in me
Our family is stronger than the wheel
They would never turn their back on me
So my life has turned out to be
What every Dad should see
The harmony of memories of dad
When I was just a lad
That makes me so glad
I had such a great Dad
