Memories Of Christmas Moon

Christmas moon, shedding its light In between morning and night While the clouds laying below Try to halt its gleaming glow Looking at its halo of amber Comes memories that I remember The golden moments of yesterday When being with her was holiday For, alone, this heart in sorrow Can't think of way to welcome tomorrow For, when she left, she took my heart And tore my dreams apart But even though, I cross my fingers Her memory still lingers Hoping that time will turn the page To the coming of a new age December 25, 2023, 1:18 AM, PST, SPC, NE On mountain top under a silver gray moon
