Memories

As I sit here and write
The travels of me
Memories are sinking
Like lead in the sea
Hold fast to them all
And you might sink too
The bad ones let go
Make room for the new
The travels of me
Have started once more
New things to try
New places to soar
Bound by no one
And nothing to lose
No holding back
New memories I choose.
