Memories

Memories from my past,
Haunt me like a ghost,
Nightmares,
That I wish where dreams,
Are all to real,
pill after pill,
Drink after drink,
I know is wrong,
But being numb
If only for awhile,
Is better than being haunted,
 By memories.
