Memories

silent slumber,
peaceful tranquility
the sun pours in
raining down on my
 gaunt and pallid skin
its so livid, so bright
nothing like this has
ever filled my sight
melting away the clouds
that darken this day
pulling back the rain
that causes one's dismay
its as if my skin glows like a light
becoming much to hot
soon it's burning, like an open flame
my every muscle
cringes away from the pain
the sky remains open
burning thoroughly
this heat is intense
more than one can ever see
as i close my eyes
the light leaves
i see you behind the lids
guiding me with such ease
its as if we back to being kids

Corazon means dear to heart in Spanish, Am I right? I have a friend in Colombia who used to say this word often
