Memories

i dream about you
and the times we had
only remembering the good
regretting the bad.

i never thought i would miss you
but now its unspeakable,
the way i miss you,
the pain... unbearable.

im only left with vague memories
not full but yet not gone
but in those memories we had great fun
love, to me, you've shone.

dim and dimmer my memories get
now as i more young
clinging to each others love
even though there was nothing to be clung.

i get younger and younger... younger and younger
my memories start to fade
time flies by... you leave me here...
my memories are nothing but shade.

vague as a memory
true as a theory
my eyes grow heavy
and soon, i get weary.

i wake up...
