Memories

As I travel through the places in my mind
Your the one thing I can't seem to find
Or leave behind
So would it be possible to unwind
The love that has been so blind
So that we don't let you escape my mind
Because now is our time

We should not mind our love from the past.
No matter what I try to let go by
Your spirit still lives within me
That allows us to fly so high
Then here you come reminding me
How much I need to see
How happy and free you have always made me

As your love surrounds what I see
Like a giant majestic tree
So let's bury what was so scary from the past
So we can unmask what lives in our hearts
Where we both have enough smarts
To know how our lives were living apart

So let's get a new start
As we depart to be on our way
To a new kind of day
We are leaving all the past behind
No need to justify what will no doubt fly by
We will see how wonderful our life
Is going turn out to be
Baby this is the key that sets our life free
