Memorial Day Prayer

center>They went to war
some gave their all
some are no more
some are on the wall

We owe our freedom
to those that stood
and faced long odds
for the greater good

Their names are whispered
in summer's first breeze
and their glory rustles
in the trees' first new leaves

and so on this day
'lest we ever forget
let us celebrate
their memory yet
