Memorial Day is about our fallen soldiers and respecting them; not about picnics and parties. we should remember and celebrate that.

Memorial Day By Franklin Price 5/26/2017 Memorial Day, a time for thought, Of wars that our brave soldiers fought, With their lives our freedom bought, Let not their lives be lost for naught. All gave some and some gave all, Were there when country came to call, Rose to the test, stood straight and tall, Some returned beneath flag pall They flew so high on eagle's wing. Their memories to which we cling Are ones that let our freedom ring; Should on this day their praises sing.
