Memorial Day

Let us remember, never should we forget

the cost and sacrifice, for each life ever spent

Today is a memorial, cause’ freedoms not free

They put it on the line, each day for you and me.

These unsung heroes, they deserve respect

To know they are loved, and not feel neglect

To not feel so lonely, when things go astray

To always be remembered, no matter the day.
