Memores Gone

Memories come and memories go, Just like summer gives way to snow. I try so hard to not forget, to remember events and time well spent. But sometimes in life things go wrong, and it pushes us to move on. Memories once kept are now faded Like my mind had been invaded. I try to remember things from before, But it's no use it's nothing but a chore. My friends and family all remember me, Doing this doing that trying to help me see. But my mind draws a blank as I stare off in space, As I hang my head in utter disgrace. For I am not the person that I used to be, Just look at me, LOOK AT ME! This is who I am and what I've become, I have to accept whatever may come. Because memories come and memories go, Just like summer gives way to snow. sometimes it's hard to accept that life and people changes us. This is wonderful. I know I will remember this piece. Thank you for your kind comments on my work.

We all grow on this journey, and what and who we once were, is often not who we become. Change can be a beautiful thing. I sense great pride in who you are now, and truly, what more can we ask for. Well done! Love, Shar
