Melvine

I sit here looking at thy art,
I feel blessed because next to it is my position at,
And in my heart I have stored in the safest part,
And always comfortable I am, never on alert,
And how I pray, we never go apart.

I used to dream, we were staring at each other on the grass,
I always wished she would be next to me washing thy glass,
And even maybe dance to thy tune that ain’t of curse,
And I know we shall be desk mates in that class,
And even to thy tune we shall dance.

I won’t deny that I am proud of you,
I won’t hesitate to announce how much I feel for you,
I won’t stop telling you I LOVE YOU,
I won’t deny that I want to be with you,
And I swear, I am adamant, I will do my best to maintain you.
                                                                    @melvine
