Meloncollie

1. A pink-gold colored dog with long fur and a long snout.
Common breed of Scotland. Good as a herder, but better
as a Pal. 2. A surface sadness no one wants to examine
since it might lead to a feeling more dense and pervasive.
3. A round, pungent yet sweet smelling fruit, with a rough
surface rind, protecting a soft, orange flesh. a. Good on
Sunday afternoon picnics or while reading the comics in bed.
Best served lightly chilled. If too cold, let sit until the
temper ment has warmed a little and the flavor is allowed
to intensify.
