Melody of Rain

Oh dear Rain, in measured drops you fall, I am bound to you since my tender years, Thy music, I long for, to grace my ears. You cleanse the stains, the filth of life’s toll, And carry me back to innocence’s abode. Thy gentle touch, a symphony divine, Resembles Mozart’s forty-first, so fine, A maestro’s masterpiece, the genius’ swan song, That claimed his life but made his spirit strong. In death, he found immortality’s embrace, His legacy forever resonates in space. Oh Rain, your rhythm taps upon my heart, A soothing melody, a healing art. I cherish each note, each droplet’s dance, A nostalgic melody, a second chance. Let your cadence guide me, evermore, To recapture the innocence I once wore. Oh Rain, in your presence, I find peace deep, A balm for wounds that sorrow did reap. Through you, I rediscover childhood’s glee, And bid farewell to life’s complexity. Stay with me, dear Rain, in steady grace, With your music, let my soul embrace. …
